Did you know that United Women of Faith (UWF) is the official women’s mission and justice organization of the United Methodist Church? What began in 1869 with just eight visionary women in Boston has blossomed into a dynamic movement of over half a million women today.
This fall, Arapaho UMC’s Love Circle is inviting all women of the church to a special kickoff event where you can learn more about UWF, explore forming small groups, and engage in meaningful advocacy for justice and support for missions. Our featured speaker, Shelley Ross, the Executive Director of Wesley Rankin Center—a community cornerstone in West Dallas for over 100 years—will share her insights and experiences.
The group will meet in the Fellowship Hall on September 22, at 2:30 pm, for light snacks, uplifting conversation, and an opportunity to connect with women from across our community who are committed to transformation and love. This is more than just a meeting—it’s a chance to be part of something larger, to grow in faith, and to make a lasting impact.
