The stories of the Old Testament lay the groundwork for understanding the New Testament. The stories of four characters in particular - Abraham, Moses, David and Elijah - are vital to our understanding of faith as Jesus knew it and the mindsets of the writers of much of the New Testament. This class will spend one week on each of these characters, delving into what the Bible has to say about them and how a better comprehension of their narratives can help us see the New Testament with new eyes.
The Four Horsemen of the Old Testament class, led by David Finley, will meet on Wednesday nights for four weeks, starting February 28, from 6:30-7:30.
