Engage in Civic Action with Texas Impact

You are invited to get involved with Texas Impact, a statewide, interfaith advocacy organization. Texas Impact helps us understand current events and demonstrates how our faith can drive us towards more effective civic engagement.

On Sunday, August 18, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, the Texas Impact team will lead several presentations focused on activating our faith to impact these elections. Texas Impact is a non-biased organization that collaborates with various faith groups and even those who do not identify with any faith.

The presentations will take place at Temple Shalom, located at the intersection of Hillcrest and Alpha, on Sunday, August 18, starting at noon. If you need transportation, we can arrange for carpooling from the church after worship. To participate in carpooling, please email Pastor Cathy at cathy@arapahoumc.org.
