Terri Knagg
Terri has been a music educator for over twenty years, teaching elementary music in Mesquite, Garland, and Wylie. In addition to teaching at her school, Terri is also the founding director of the Wylie Children’s Chorus.
Terri is blessed to have served as the Director of Music at Axe Memorial UMC in Garland for the past fifteen years. While at Axe, Terri sought to carry out the church’s mission of being “Called to share and celebrate the joy of Christ” with her congregation and community. Her favorite verse is Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” It is in this spirit of joy that Terri comes to Arapaho UMC.
Terri holds a Bachelor of Music from Texas A&M-Commerce and earned Orff and Kodaly certifications through Southern Methodist University. She is passionate about music, singing, leading church choirs, and serving alongside a loving and giving community. Terri lives in Wylie with her husband, John, their two kids, Allie and Jack, and their three dogs, Lucy, Kaiya, and Winnie.
