Wonderfully Made Workshop

  • Arapaho United Methodist Church 1400 West Arapaho Road Richardson, TX, 75080 United States (map)

As a parent, you want your child to grow up with confidence, self-awareness, and a strong foundation in faith. You know the questions will come—about bodies, relationships, and identity—and you want to be ready with honest, faith-filled conversations. Wonderfully Made is designed to support you and your student in navigating these important topics with openness, honesty, and grace.

This special two-session event for students in grades 5-8 takes place on Friday, May 2, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 3, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm in Room 40. Over the course of the weekend, students will engage in thoughtful discussions about their changing bodies, relationships, boundaries, and how faith shapes their understanding of themselves and others. Through guided conversations, reflection, and interactive learning, they will be given the tools to approach these topics with confidence and curiosity.

Because parents are essential partners in these conversations, we invite you to a Parent Intro Zoom on Thursday, May 1, where we will walk through the curriculum, answer questions, and offer guidance on continuing these discussions at home. Then, on Saturday at 2:00 pm, parents are encouraged to join the final session to experience a portion of what your student has been learning.

Wonderfully Made is more than just a workshop—it’s an opportunity for young people to ask real questions and receive faith-based, thoughtful answers in a setting that is supportive and affirming. It’s a chance for families to begin or continue meaningful conversations about how we are created in God’s image, how we build healthy relationships, and how we live out our faith with our whole selves.
