Wait… we report to a Bishop? What’s an Annual Conference? And what exactly is the Book of Discipline? If you’ve ever found yourself wondering about the language and structure of the United Methodist Church, you’re not alone. Many folks, especially those who didn’t grow up in the UMC, have the same questions.

That’s why we periodically offer a class called Understanding Methodism, this class will be led by Pastor Jonathan Perry. It’s a relaxed, no-prep-needed opportunity to explore the history, beliefs, and organization of our denomination, and to ask all the questions you’ve been curious about but didn’t know who to ask.
