Come contemplate the seven last words of Jesus.  We will try to picture ourselves at the foot of his cross – what we might hear, what we might see.  This perspective will help us look from both a biblical and historical perspective.  It is through this lens we plan to explore the deeper meaning of his final utterances.  What do they reveal to us, and how can they be relevant to us today?   It is a trustworthy saying that only those who have known famine possess the joy of the feast.  Therein lies the hope.  Why else would we call it "Good Friday."
