You're invited to a Public Lecture and book signing for the book, "See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love," by Valarie Kaur. This lecture is sponsored by Faith Commons, which promotes public discourse rooted in the common values of many faiths.
FC cultivates unexpected relationships through educational programs that inspire more people to participate in public life with mutual respect, hospitality, and generosity.
Arapaho attendees will coordinate carpools or AUMC bus transportation closer to the event. The event will be held at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum in downtown Dallas. While the lecture begins at 7:30pm, the museum has agreed to remain open before the lecture so that ticket holders can see the museum. Plan for the evening would be to grab dinner, visit the museum, listen to the lecture, then return to the church.
