Ramadan Dinner

  • Arapaho United Methodist Church 1400 West Arapaho Road Richardson, TX, 75080 United States (map)

Are you seeking to learn about other faith traditions and deepen interfaith relationships, an annual tradition at Arapaho UMC offers a unique opportunity to share in a Ramadan dinner with friends from the Dallas Dialogue Institute.

For over 20 years, the Dialogue Institute has fostered mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation among people of diverse faiths and cultures by creating spaces for direct communication and meaningful shared experiences.

On Friday, March 21, from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm, the Arapaho UMC Fellowship Hall will be a place of learning and connection. As the evening unfolds, the tradition of fasting and Ramadan will be explored, leading to the iftar meal at sunset, prepared by the Dialogue Institute. Gathered around the table, stories will be shared, perspectives will be exchanged, and a spirit of community will be nurtured.

This interfaith gathering welcomes people of all ages, including families with children and youth. Over the years, many have found this tradition to be a meaningful and enriching experience. This year offers another opportunity to share in conversation, hospitality, and the warmth of breaking bread together.
