Hamilton Park UMC ("The Park") invites Arapaho UMC to help them with monthly food distribution to about 45 families in the Hamilton Park neighborhood each month. Helpers meet at The Park UMC, receive and sort food (produce, frozen meats, canned goods, dried fruits, etc.), shop for families according to a completed grocery shopping list, and deliver the grocery items to the guest in their vehicle.
This event happens on the first Saturday of each month (except in July due to the holiday weekend). For July, this event is on Saturday, July 13. The event lasts from 8:30 am-about 12:30 pm, but partial participation is appropriate as well. There are some activities that are appropriate for children as well.
