Pancake Supper

  • Arapaho United Methodist Church 1400 West Arapaho Road Richardson, TX, 75080 United States (map)

Come enjoy an evening of pancakes, music, and community on Tuesday, March 4, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Arapaho United Methodist Church. This festive Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper celebrates the start of the Lenten season with a tradition rooted in history and community.

Indulge in delicious pancakes, a nod to the longstanding practice of using up rich ingredients like sugar, butter, and eggs before Lent begins. As you savor your meal, soak in the sounds of New Orleans Jazz favorites performed live by a jazz band from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

Shrove Tuesday, also known as Fat Tuesday, has deep Christian roots as a day to prepare for Lent, blending reflection with celebration. Over the years, it has become a cherished tradition—a time for families, friends, and neighbors to come together for food, music, and connection.

This evening promises to be a joyful and meaningful way to mark the season. Bring your loved ones, invite your neighbors, and be part of a celebration filled with music, laughter, and community spirit.
