The Longest Night

Are you struggling to get through the holiday season this year?  Are you dealing with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce, or coping with the loss of a job?  Are you living with cancer or some other dis-ease that puts a question mark over the future?  The traditional holiday gatherings and celebrations can be painful for many people in our congregation and community alike.

You are invited into a sacred space on the eve of the Winter Solstice, to be a comfort to each other amid the longest night.  As you step inside the moment, lifted by song, by the Word, and by prayer, you can reflect on your personal circumstances, accept where you are, and begin to journey together into the next year with a message of healing and hope.

"Comfort, O comfort my people,
says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and cry unto her
that she has served her term,
that her penalty has been paid."
Is. 40: 1-2
