The Netflix documentary My Octopus Teacher is the subject of an upcoming Earth Month Documentary at Arapaho UMC. What do you have in common with an octopus? “More than you might imagine,” says filmmaker Craig Foster, who forges an unusual friendship with a common wild octopus in a South African kelp forest. During this year-long journey, he discovered how changing his relationship with animals and the natural world also changed his interactions with people. My Octopus Teacher is nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
