Arapaho United Methodist Church Hosts Town Hall with District 112 Candidates
Arapaho United Methodist Church is proud to announce a special town hall gathering on October 15 at 6:30 pm. Both candidates for District 112, Rep. Angie Chen Button and Averie Bishop, have been invited to participate. This event will be moderated by Rev. Dr. George Mason, who will lead a thoughtful dialogue on key issues of concern to our community.
As a faith-based community committed to civic engagement, AUMC believes it is vital to hear directly from candidates about their positions on matters that impact our lives. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to each candidate as they respond to questions from Dr. Mason. Community members are also invited to submit their own questions for consideration by emailing cathy@arapahoumc.org.
Both candidates have been invited to participate in this event.
While some organizations may choose to cancel such gatherings if not all candidates accept the invitation, Arapaho UMC is committed to holding the town hall regardless of the number of participants, ensuring an open platform for discussion and community connection.
