Join us for a performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater. It is his last work as he died shortly after composing it, he was only 26 years old when he died, and even though he lived a short life, the Stabat Mater compiles the best of his work! The Stabat Mater prayer is a Catholic Hymn that takes us through the journey of Mary as she witnesses her son’s death, being compassionate about her grief! 

This work is composed for two soloists and orchestra and will be performed by the Camerata Dallas Young Soloists and soprano Jazmin Luevano and Mezzo Birla Santiago, to be conducted by Luis Rodriguez.
