Austin Street Food Service

  • Arapaho UMC 1400 West Arapaho Road Richardson, TX 75080 United States (map)

Throughout the year Arapaho's United Methodist Men organize early morning visits to the Austin Street Shelter to feed the clients. This is a great project for a family, a group of friends, a small group or an individual to get involved with working against poverty here in Dallas.

On Saturday, July 23, (from Noon - 1:00 pm) we will collect food at the East Doors of the church. Then on Sunday, July 24 a team of people will deliver and serve food (5:00 - 8:00 am).

How can you help? You may assist the team in several ways: Making A Donation, Preparing food and/or Delivering Food. We need 18-20 food makers and 5-8 people with cars for delivery and food service. This will be our first food service at their new facility and new requirements are in place for food servers.

If you are unable to sign up to do any of the above items but would like to help, you may make a financial donation here (select Austin Street as your fund).
